The Council will adopt a final budget on April 23 after three public hearings and two town hall meetings. The 2013 fiscal year runs from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
The proposed Capital Improvements Program (CIP) provides funding for significant capital projects in FY2013, and sets a capital plan for the next five years. City of Falls Church Mayor Nader Baroukh announced today his intention to seek re-election to City Council.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Falls Church for allowing me to serve on the City Council for the last four years.
We have made great progress in the last few years, and have a lot more work to do. The City has made great strides in its current development, fiscal, school, and management policies.
This is a wonderful community with amazingly talented people who are making immense contributions to the City. We have incredible potential and have many more great things to do.
If the people of the City of Falls Church do me the honor of representing them again on the Council, I will find it a great privilege to be a part of the effort to achieve that potential.
